Before you connect

Set up your Uncensured AI account. You can then use your balance from compatible apps.

Add credit
Sign in or create an account, then top up your wallet. Model usage is deducted from your prepaid balance.

Create your API key
Open API keys and create a key. A separate key for each app makes it easier to identify and revoke.

Add a compatible provider
Install OpenCat and open Settings. Under Providers, choose OpenAI Compatible from the new providers.

Paste the address, key and model
Enter the complete Base URL below. Paste your Uncensured AI key into Key. In Custom models, enter the model ID and press Return.

Keep “Use Responses API” switched off. Keep the default Authorization authentication header.
Press Save. After entering your active key, you can use Validate to check the configuration.

Choose the model and start a chat
Create a conversation and select the model you just added. Send a first message to check that it responds.
Test messageReply with: connection successful.
